Emily and Alicia's Wedding
At the end of October 2008, the parents of Julia's best friend, Katie, got married at Lake Temescal. Julia had a special French braid put in her hair, much admired by Aunt Sandi.
Julia thought it was a little bit "not fair" that Katie got to be a flower girl and she didn't. But hey, she was a flower girl at her mom and dad's wedding a two years earlier - too bad she doesn't remember.
As soon as the music started, the kids all hit the dance floor. Julia danced with Clara and the other girls, and even deigned to dance with mom a bit. I wish I had a picture of Emily and Alicia - they were so beautiful and happy.
