Julia loves the water so much. Our "villa" in Belize (February 2008) had a lovely pool. She practiced with her snorkel before we went out to the reef.




We went snorkeling twice during the trip. Julia was totally intrepid. She jumped right in the water, put her face down and started kicking. We had practiced with the snorkel during swim classes at home, and she knew just what to do.

The outfitter set her up with a life preserver. He had her on a string so she couldn't drift away, since the water was pretty choppy. She saw lots of cool stuff - rays, sharks, and loads of colorful fish.
