At Julia's preschool, the birthday kid gets to be "Star of the Week." Julia designed a special poster to illustrate her first five years. She sure was happy!


Mom told the class about Julia's "birth" day and how happy we were to see her.

Grandma Elaine read Julia's new favorite book, A Seed is Sleepy, to the class. Julia (correctly) identified all the seeds in the front cover.

As a treat, Grandma Elaine made her tried-and-true cupcake cones, which Julia had decorated. She got to pass them out to her friends Justin and Isa.


Ruby and Isabella liked them too. We had a lovely time visiting with Julia's class.
