Weekend Bear Spends the Weekend
Julia's class at Heart's Leap school does an emerging literacy project in which the kids take turns bringing Weekend Bear home. They draw pictures and write about Weekend Bear's adventures, then share them with the class. In October 2007, it was Julia's turn. Julia took good care of Weekend Bear, including her dental hygiene.
On Saturday, Weekend Bear went to a birthday party at Caroline's house. She just loved the jumpy house.
She observed the festivities from an honored spot on the craft table.
Julia made a new outfit for Weekend Bear.
We took Weekend Bear to Lucky Goldfish in Oakland to help us pick out some new pets.
As you can tell, Weekend Bear loved the fish store. (It's one of Julia's favorite places, too.)
