Camping @ China Camp

We went to China Camp on July 10 for an overnight camping trip, and took Julia for a 2-hour hike. She did great.

Our very cool little hiker, June 10, 2006. Julia picked some rattlesnake grass.

Julia found some flowers near the campsite and brought them back for mom.

It was pretty cold on the China Camp peer, but we managed to hang out long enough for a picture.

Nothing like a nature pee!

At home, Julia walks on the ceiling, but here she walks on the sky.

Greg chopped some wood...

...then built a fire. Ah, MEN!

Ketchup complemented the hotdogs perfectly.

Julia had a very long stick, so she didn't have to get too close to the fire to roast her marshmallows.

Success!

It took Julia a long time to conk out, but she slept right through the big raccoon incursion into our food that night.

We were all pretty sleepy in the morning.
